1.Pre-renovation education

4.Signs, containment and waste
- Warning signs posted at entrances to the work area (Photo 5).
- Objects removed or covered with plastic; HVAC ducts closed and covered (Photo 6).
- Windows in the work area closed; doors in the work area closed and sealed, with the entry door covered with plastic (Photo 7).
- Floor covered with plastic extending 6 feet beyond the perimeter of the surfaces being renovated (Photo 8).
- Waste bagged and sealed at the end of each day, and kept sealed during transport off site.
5.Cleaning and cleaning verification
- Paint chips and debris picked up; protective sheeting misted, folded dirty side in and taped for removal.
- Surfaces HEPA-vacuumed and wet-wiped; floors HEPA-vacuumed and wet-mopped.
