Questions
Is CleanFile available today?
No. CleanFile is in development and not available yet. Reserving a founding spot is free and needs no card; we'll email you when it's ready.
Is CleanFile approved by BESA?
No. CleanFile is not affiliated with or endorsed by BESA or BESCA. TR19® is a trademark of the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA).
Does it replace the Vent Hygiene Register?
No. If you're a VHR member you still lodge each job and upload your post-clean verification report to the VHR Hub. CleanFile produces the report you upload.
Does it cover ductwork as well as kitchen extract?
It's being built for kitchen extract reports first, with ventilation ductwork (TR19® Air) reports to follow.
Who is responsible for the readings and the recommendation?
The competent person who carries out the clean. CleanFile lays out what your engineers record; it doesn't make the assessment for them.
Is there a setup fee or a minimum term?
No setup fee. Founding plans will be monthly, and you'll be able to export every report and cancel at any time.
